Gus graduated from The University of Newcastle in 1977, and worked for some years as a Senior House Officer in various general hospitals (Kingston, Middlesex, Whipps Cross) and university teaching hospitals (Leeds, Eastman). He took the Eastman Dental Hospital Master’s Degree in Conservative Dentistry in 1985.
Mr Ghani was placed on the General Dental Council's Specialist Registration List for Endodontics and Prosthodontics in 2000. He worked for many years in private practices at Harley Street and Hampton Middlesex. He provided specialist endodontic and prosthodontic services at Central London Community Healthcare for some years.
Mr Ghani is an Advisor to the Medical Unit, Voluntary Services Overseas. Gus is a keen but not a very good golfer.
