Lecture by Dr Hassan Asad
Dr Hassan Asad graduated with Distinction from Leeds Dental School with a Bachelors of Dental Surgery and an integrated Masters in Oral Sciences. He has since demonstrated his commitment to Restorative Dentistry and Dental Aesthetics by pursuing and completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. He has also presented research in the prestigious International Association for Dental Research in Vancouver and in 2020, he was awarded Dental Associate of the year. With previous experience in reputable private clinics in London, he has recently relocated to Dubai.

Hassan founded Deciduous, The Young Dental Forum and since then has lectured across the country to both undergraduate and postgraduate dentists and teaches on the Smile Dental Academy year-long programme.

Aims : To understand the main factors associated with periodontal disease progression and tooth loss, while demystifying the ways to try and save ‘hopeless’ teeth
