Dear Patients,
Five weeks have passed since we had to seize the provision of routine treatment at Dental Rooms, as dental practices across the country joined the fight against the spread of COVID-19. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you wholeheartedly for the many kind messages of support and concern for the team’s well-being.
We know that this decision has meant changes to your scheduled dental appointments and treatments; but also to the way dental emergencies will be dealt with during our temporary closure.
We are, therefore, getting in touch with you to reassure you that our staff are working and are here to help if required. If you are concerned about a dental issue or you are in need of urgent dental care, please read our guide on how to deal with dental emergencies. We have also put together tips on how to manage non-urgent dental problems at home. In addition, our social media channels are regularly updated with news from the practice. Follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for more details.
The team are keeping occupied with taking calls from patients, online learning and preparations for our return to practising dentistry. It has been a pleasure to receive calls from our patients and to be able to help and keep in touch. It is utterly bizarre to be providing ‘teledentistry’ but this is all in the hope that we can keep our patients and team safe and well.
We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to you for your patience, understanding and support at this difficult time. We cannot know how soon we will be returning to normal practice operations, but we can assure you that we are here to assist you if needed until then.
As we continue our collective efforts to #StayAtHomeSaveLives , we do so with the knowledge that we are aiding thousands of inspirational frontline staff who are working tirelessly to save the lives of people affected by the coronavirus.
We wish you all good health.
Best wishes,
Dr Angela Auluck and Dr Dev Patel
